Dear friends and colleagues,
The Cost Conscious Culture (CCC) is an ongoing Bank-wide initiative to encourage all employees to be mindful and to take a prudent, efficient and cost-effective approach in all aspects of our work.
The objective of the CCC Committee is to implement measures towards inculcating a culture of cost consciousness within the Bank. This multi-disciplinary group comprising of representatives from various sectors within the Bank aims to develop a framework to facilitate effective and efficient management of the Bank’s resources.
As a central bank and statutory body, we owe a duty of care to our stakeholders in ensuring that the operations of the Bank are conducted responsibly and in the most efficient manner possible, to eliminate wastage while maximizing benefits and value-add.
I am encouraged that many departments have taken actionable steps to instill the habit of cost consciousness into their daily work processes. However, for us to have a culture of cost consciousness, this habit has to permeate and be practiced consistently throughout the entire organisation. The CCC Committee will focus our efforts on spurring and facilitating this cultural evolution within the Bank.
I thank you all for your continuing efforts and support on this. Together, we can make a positive difference.
